Around fifteen nautical companies are presenting their new products at the Metstrade
Around fifteen companies from the Balearic Islands have had the opportunity to showcase their new products at the world’s most important nautical industry fair, Metstrade, which is taking place this week in Amsterdam.
This action has been made possible thanks to an agreement between the Ministry of Business, Self-Employment and Trade, through the Regional Development Agency of the Balearic Islands (ADRBalears), and the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), through which companies from the Balearic Islands had a space at the ANEN stand to present products, hold meetings, and establish new relationships without the need to hire their own stand.
The purpose of this agreement is to contribute to the internationalization of the Balearic nautical sector, which is considered strategic for the Balearic economy. In addition, it also promotes the strengthening of the business fabric and drives innovation within companies. This is an action that increases the visibility of all the companies participating in the fair.
The Minister of Business, Self-Employment, and Energy, Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, visited Metstrade to meet with various Balearic companies at the fair and executives of the organizations IFBSO and ICOMIA, which bring together a large part of the boat shows and nautical congresses, to explore potential synergies with the Palma International Boat Show, Palma’s nautical event. In addition, he spoke about the importance of the nautical sector in the Balearic Islands on the international stage during a talk organized at the ANEN stand, located in Hall 1, one of the busiest halls.
Among the companies presenting products at Metstrade, at the ANEN stand, were companies specializing in equipment, boat repair and maintenance, engines and generators, crew hiring, as well as ship design and architecture.
Specifically, Supermercado Náutico, Viamar, Dahlberg, OS Safety Equipment, Seateach, Waterline, Metalnox, Bravo Yacht Design, Astilleros de Mallorca, Akupalma, Nautipaints, Marine Point, and Warren Maritime attended.
Likewise, the stand has been a meeting point for all the companies based in the Islands and visiting Metstrade, where they organized meetings and established new professional contacts. The Metstrade fair concludes tomorrow at the RAI venue in Amsterdam.
It is considered the most important professional event for the sector internationally, and it brings together more than 1,700 exhibitors. Previous editions have had more than 20,000 visitors.
