More than 200 professionals are putting the finishing touches on the exhibition grounds that will host the next edition of the Palma International Boat Show

With just one week to go before the start of the Palma International Boat Show, more than 200 people have been working since the beginning of the month to set up the exhibition grounds that will host a new edition of the nautical event that kicks off the season in the Mediterranean. Setup is taking place in two areas, at Moll Vell in Palma and at Marina Port de Mallorca, which will form the different sections of the fair.

Over the coming days, technicians, assemblers, electricians, carpenters, logistics staff, and production teams are working in coordination to ensure everything is ready for April 29, the date the boat show will open its doors. It should be noted that from April 21 through May 6, the Contramoll Mollet road will be closed to allow for the completion of the fairgrounds’ setup.

One of the most complex tasks of the setup is the installation of up to 200 meters of floating docking lines intended for mooring yachts or for visitor circulation. In addition, the floating walkway connecting the Espigó de Consigna with the Moll de la Indústria Pesquera is currently being installed, allowing for a circular tour of the fair. The walkway is 72 meters long and 5 meters wide.

The two areas of the venue, Moll Vell and Marina Port de Mallorca, will be connected by sea via shuttle boats, allowing visitors to travel between both areas in just five minutes, which will facilitate visitor mobility.

The Palma International Boat Show 2026, organized by ADRBalears—an entity under the Regional Ministry of Business, Self-Employed Workers, and Energy—and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), will take place from April 29 to May 2, featuring leading companies in the sector and a broad international representation. Tickets to attend the fair are now available for purchase via the website https://palmainternationalboatshow.com/
