Palma strengthens its strategy for nautical tourism through the joint promotion of the PIBS 2026 and the Palma 365 Tourism Foundation
Palma is once again turning its attention firmly to the sea ahead of the arrival of the Palma International Boat Show 2026. As it does every season, the City Council, through the Palma 365 Tourism Foundation, is reinforcing its commitment to promoting this key event, which marks the start of the Mediterranean nautical calendar and consolidates the Balearic capital as one of the most attractive destinations for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector.
This collaboration forms part of the council’s strategy to boost tourism throughout the year, championing the nautical sector as a distinctive element of quality and added value. The aim is to bring the event closer to both residents and visitors, strengthening Palma’s connection with its maritime surroundings and its identity linked to the sea.
Promotion of the event will be visible at various strategic points across the city, with advertising displays in central areas and on the tourist bus, as well as in tourist information offices.
The 2026 edition of the Palma International Boat Show will take place between 29 April and 2 May at the iconic Moll Vell, next to the cathedral. The event is organised by the Regional Development Agency of the Balearic Islands (ADRBalears), under the Regional Ministry of Business, the Self-Employed and Energy, in collaboration with the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).
